    Greger Nilzen, a native of South Sweden, brings a global perspective to Wine Garden in Fort Lauderdale. After launching businesses in Stockholm and working in hospitality across Turkey, Thailand, and the French Alps, he settled in Florida, captivated by its vibrant coast. As the visionary behind Wine Garden, opened in 2017, Greger transformed a historic 1956 property into a lush, romantic Italian-inspired oasis. His passion for fine wines, authentic cuisine, and inviting ambiance has made Wine Garden a beloved local gem, earning rave reviews for its cozy garden setting and exceptional service.

    Rosario DeLuca

    EXECUTIVE CHEF

    Chef Rosario DeLuca, born in Rome to Calabrian parents in the early 1970s, is the culinary force behind Wine Garden in Fort Lauderdale. Raised in Rome’s Castelli Romani, he honed his craft under his grandmother Maria in Calabria, mastering authentic Italian techniques. By the mid-1990s, Rosario’s innovative cucina, blending tradition with modern flair, earned international acclaim, including features in My New York Magazine. Formerly executive chef at DeLuca in Nashville, he now brings his passion for Roman classics like Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe to Wine Garden, crafting unforgettable dishes with fresh, authentic ingredients.

    GENERAL MANAGER

    Rachel Anhalt, hailing from Philadelphia, is the dynamic General Manager of Wine Garden in Fort Lauderdale. With a degree in hospitality management from Juniata Collage, Rachel honed her skills in high-end restaurant operations across Philadelphia’s vibrant dining scene before relocating to Florida. Joining Wine Garden in 2020, she quickly became the heartbeat of the operation, blending her passion for exceptional guest experiences with sharp business acumen. Known for her warm leadership and keen eye for detail, Rachel ensures every visit feels like a special occasion, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that keeps patrons returning to Wine Garden’s enchanting setting.
