+ What does Food & Beverage minimum mean?

The “minimum” is what you have to spend to cover what we would normally do in sales in the restaurant or in the space you are using. You have to meet this minimum for us to close to the public. So if you don’t meet this minimum we will have to charge the difference in room rent. To avoid paying “room rent” you can upgrade the food package, extend the open bar or simply invite more guests. Keep in mind that tax and gratuity and any additional services is not included in the minimum.

+ How does open bar package work?

The open bar starts at the beginning of your event. The hours of open bar also determine the length of your event. 30 min after open bar ends, we begin cleaning the space. Open bar is unlimited drinks per person as long as the bar package lasts.

+ What kind of cocktails can we get with hard liquor package?

We can make mixed one-and-one drinks such as rum/coke, gin/tonic, vodka/soda whiskey/ginger ale etc. And more than two ingredient cocktails and/or muddled, shaken, stirred cocktails will slow down service. We can for an additional fee prepare a “specialty cocktail” for your event that is premixed.

+ When can my vendors start decorating the tables?

Our staff comes in 2 hours prior to the event. To setup and move tables and chairs usually takes about 30-60 minutes and that gives your vendors one hour to setup.

+ How do we play music?

For all rooms and the restaurant we have a Bluetooth connection where you can choose to use our house mix or play your own music through our system. If you have DJ, they will need to bring speakers. They can still connect to our system.

+ How long are the tables?

It all depends on your table configuration. In a restaurant we always calculate with 2 feet / person. A 10-foot table fits 10 people plus one person each end.

+ What information does Wine Garden need from us?

All we really need is your selection of food and drink package, seating chart and a desired timeline. What we provide is dinner, drinks and service during the event. If you want us to be involved in planning the event, we be happy to do so, but will require a planning package.

+ How do we communicate with Wine Garden for questions or information and requests?

There is usually a lot of information. The best way is through emails where there is a written record of your event. We highly recommend to only use one email and one email chain to make sure we do not miss anything during your event.

+ When do I give my final guest count?

There is no need for an event to update us every time a guest gets added or cancel. One week prior to event we start putting in food orders and that when we need final count and guests’ entrée selection (if plated dinner).

+ What happens if its rain?

Our restaurant is an open garden and there is no great option for rain. Considering the trees and string lights putting up a tent is our last resort. The alleyway has a retractable rain cover that 60 guests comfortable can sit under. We have our entrance that is covered and can seat 40 guests. We also have our indoor dining room that seats around 60 guests. With that being said, we have hosts hundreds of events and so far we have not have one single wedding rain out. In Florida during dry season (Nov-May) it can come a rain shower, but they usually only last a few minutes.
